The team at Original Towel Tanks (OTT) loves all four seasons and has been busy playing this winter; ice fishing, snow shoeing, and skiing every chance we could! While we love hot tea and cozy nights, we are ready for summer! OTT was created by a team of four that loves nothing more than long summer days. Despite the uncertainty of the past few years, we never lost our love for the outdoors, and found it more important than ever to get outside during this time. Meet the team below and hear what Soaking Up Summer means to them!
Molly - our resident naturalist. Molly works as a registered nurse and after a challenging professional year, she looks forward to quieter moments and as much time outdoors as possible (see future posts on her Max Your Day practices)! Soaking up Summer means reading National Geographic magazines by Lake Michigan, runs through apple orchards (looking at you Stony Lake), and eating all meals outdoors!
Matt - our fishing and boating connoisseur. The water is always calling our names in the Summer time in Michigan. Matt loves how the warm sun and warming waters bring everyone together for a few months of pure bliss. Time is of the essence in the Summers in Michigan, so Soaking up Summer means taking every opportunity to play.
Katie - prefers cowboy boots with her bathing suits. After a long school year of spending her days lesson planning and teaching energetic first graders, to Katie soaking up summer means R E L A X I N G. No alarm clocks, no set schedule, just the obligation to soak up as much sunshine as possible in whatever capacity each day allows.
Joe - avid turtle catcher and slalom skier. Joe has found himself lucky enough to have spent most of his summers raised on a lake. Joe and Molly now live in Denver, CO and since then, have realized how integral, special, and unique summertime is in the great state of Michigan. Soaking up summer is being outside from sunrise to sunset, by the waters of Stony Lake, MI.
